High quality, warm and friendly accommodation, in a sympathetically restored Victorian House, set over three floors.
Fell House is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just 3 minutes walk from the Main street with all the shops, restaurants, information centre and 5 minutes walk to the bus station, close to Derwentwater and surrounding Fells.
The accommodation has very high standards with en-suite bedrooms and one economy bedroom, all bedrooms have coulor TV, a well stocked hospitality tray and C/H you can control.
Each room has wonderful views of the surrounding Fells.
Exclusivly for non-smokers.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
- Gravel car park at rear of premises for 5 vehicles, on a first come first served basis, free of charge during stay, not lit at night.
- All access is via the front.
- On street parking is available.
- From car park to front of premises is via a short tarmac lane.
- Route to front entrance means having to step up onto a pavement and another onto the front path, constructed of blocked bricks, lit at night.
- 4 stone steps leading to front entrance, no hand rail.
- There is no porter facility.
Main Entrance & Reception
- All access is via the front up 4 stone steps 90cm wide/38cm deep/16cm high, no hand rail.
- Wall and ceiling lights throughout, natural light in all areas.
- Additional keys on request.

Public Areas - General (Internal)
- Access to all floors is via staircase 89cm wide/26cm deep/18cm high, 17 steps to firstfloor additinal 15 steps to second floor, bannister handrail.
- Wall to wall carpet throughout.
- All doors are key operated wooden single leaf.
- Public areas are all on ground floor.
- Colour contrast in all areas.
- One bedroom has private facilities, shower W.C. vinyl floor covering, that are 4 steps down along a landing with level carpeting.
- All en-suites have W.C.
Public Areas
- Access to public ares are via carpeted staircase and landings with bannister handrail.
- Doors are wooden single leaf.
- Signage is not tactile.
- Fire alarms are none flashing, siren type, evacuation routes are signed and each room has evacuation procedures displayed.
- No public W.C.
Breakfast Room
- Breakfast room, natural light plus wall and ceiling lights, wall to wall level carpeting.
- Tables and chairs are all movable.
- Exclusively non smoking.
- Special diets are catered for.
Bedrooms
- No bedrooms are suitable for wheel chair users.
- En-suite bedrooms are wall to wall carpeted, uniform lighting and natural light. En-suite have vinyl floor covering.
- Beds are divan type combination of doubles and twin.
- Pillows and Duvets are anti allergy.
- Fire alarms are non flashing siren type.
- Colour TV (not teletext) remote operated.
- Entrance to all bed rooms are wooden single leaf key operated doors.
- Pet free.
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC (En-suite or Shared)
- En-suites in all bedrooms are private.
- Economy bedroom has use of bathroom, shower, toilet, heated towel rail, vinyl floor covering, natural and ceiling light.
Grounds & Gardens
- Small flagged and brick blocked front garden with wooden bench (in summer).
